2. Terms of Service
Service Expectations
Indy Leash provides dog walking and pet care services at agreed-upon times. We will make reasonable efforts to arrive within scheduled windows, but exact timing may vary due to weather, traffic, or safety concerns.
Client Responsibilities

Dogs must be non-aggressive and safe to handle.

Dogs must be properly leashed, tagged, and up-to-date on vaccinations.

Clients must disclose any history of aggression, bites, or behavioral issues.

Clients must provide safe access to the property (keys, codes, etc.).
Right to Refuse Service
We may refuse or discontinue service if a dog is aggressive, unsafe, not properly cared for, or poses a risk to our walkers or others.
Weather Policy
For extreme weather (heat, cold, storms), Indy Leash may shorten walks for the safety of the dog and the walker. Interior enrichment time may be substituted.
Payment Terms
Payment is due at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed. Late or failed payments may result in paused services.
3. Liability Waiver and Release
By booking with Indy Leash, you agree to the following liability terms:
Dog Behavior and Safety
You acknowledge that animals can be unpredictable and may cause injury even with proper handling. You agree that Indy Leash is not liable for injuries to your dog arising from normal walking activities, interactions with other animals, or unforeseen events.
Property and Injury
You release Indy Leash and its walkers from liability for:

Injuries to your dog during normal exercise

Dog bites to third parties during the walk

Accidental property damage

Injury to the walker caused by your dog

Loss of the dog due to equipment failure not provided by Indy Leash
Emergency Care
If your dog becomes ill or injured, Indy Leash may seek veterinary care. You agree to be responsible for all related costs.
Client-Provided Equipment
You assume responsibility for failure of collars, harnesses, leashes, gates, locks, or any equipment you provide.
4. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Cancellations

Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the scheduled walk: no fee.

Cancellations within 24 hours: may be charged up to the full service price.

No-shows (walker arrives and cannot access the dog): full charge.
Refunds
Refunds are issued only for prepaid services not yet provided. Refunds are not available for completed services.
Holidays
Holiday bookings may require deposits or have separate cancellation rules, shown at booking.
5. Communication Policies
Emails
Marketing emails will only be sent if you opt in. All emails will include an unsubscribe option.
Texts
Automated texts require your consent. You may reply STOP to opt out at any time.
6. ADA and Accessibility
Indy Leash aims to keep its website reasonably accessible in accordance with general ADA website guidelines. If you encounter any accessibility barriers, you may notify us through any listed contact option on our website.
7. Updates to These Policies
Indy Leash may update these policies from time to time. When changes are made, the updated version will replace the previous one and the “Last updated” date will change. Continued use of the website or services indicates acceptance of the updated terms.
